There are many ways to contribute towards ending exploitation.

Here are a few suggestions.

Volunteer

Become a volunteer with the Collaborative Network. Volunteers are valued members of our network. Their time and skills are important and highly valued. Email vkalaydzhieva@csj-to.ca if you are interested. You can also become a member of the Toronto Counter Human Trafficking Network.

Sign the Petition for Open Work Permits for Migrant Workers

Canada has to uphold the basic human right of labour mobility for everyone working here. Migrant workers should be able to change employers like any other in Canada

Sign the petition calling on the government to abolish the system of indentured labour for migrant workers. They are not disposable.

Donate

The Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto administer this Collaborative Network and donations can be made through Canada Helps

Donors should specify that their money is to go directly to the Collaborative Network to End Exploitation.

 Call the Helpline

Trafficked persons, their families and community members can call the Canadian Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-833-900-1010.

Callers can receive referrals to a wide variety of services including legal support and shelters across Canada.
